On Education

I have tried to get information together. With your help I will take legislation to Richmond that will make education our number one priority.

I don't appreciate education bills becoming riders for other legislation. All education bills should be stand alone bills. There will not be anymore of the usual "If you want $10,000,000 for schools we want $200,000,000 for roads". We still do not get all of the lottery money for education even after 14 or so years.

Each classroom over 12 students should have a teaching assistant to work with the primary teacher. Each and every location should have a full time in school psychologist for each grade level. Troubled students should be given goals to achieve and not punishment for uncontrollable behavior. If it takes a one on one teacher to student ratio to educate our children then that is what will be done.

Our children deserve to be left with a manageable economy. Through education we can be sure they understand that we didn't destroy their futures on purpose. We need to be able to leave them with the funds to make sure they can give us our social security when we get old enough to collect it. Otherwise they will be seizing our property and putting us in "communities" to house us. The last Social Security statement I got said the I will only collect 80% of the amount I put in. What kind of an investment is that?

And lets talk about drugs in schools. Caffeine is a drug!!! What is the double standard here. Oh yeah, I forgot....I am not a P.H.Duh. I guess we can shovel in some more money and hire few more assistant Principals for uncontrollable kids. The teachers have a rough enough time educating our children without having to deal with caffeine saturated youths. Just because there are not any age restrictions on this drug yet. Why should we be giving this substance to our children with the full consent of the school board? What happened to the food pyramid?

You read these words and ask, WHERE WILL THE MONEY COME FROM?, and I say:

Legal Reform

The legal industry has this country in a strangle-hold. This industry has taken over our courts and operate them as they see fit.
It's your country... Not the American and State Bar Associations!!!!

Our courts need to be changed to halls of understanding and solutions. I was in Richmond during a legislative session and a circuit court judge from Virginia Beach testified that when a questionaire was sent to all the judges in Virginia Beach, she got a reply back from only TWO JUDGES!!! Thats a great return on our investment. The courts must solve the problems that plague our society instead of feeding our tax dollars into an empire out of control.

Lets talk about the outrageous judgements against businesses and insurance companys. It doesn't bother them at all. They just raise the rates they charge us.

WE ARE THE TAXPAYERS!!!

Without U, There is NO Union

We need to take back our courts and make them the system they were designed to be. These courts have been turned into a battlefield of hatred and intimidation.

The "Law" is no longer practiced in these hallowed halls, "policy" is the method of justice used there. We have "conceptually" the best legal system on earth. The people that operate this "system" have turned our courts against us and our great country.

"World Peace Begins at Home"

There are some lawyers that have changed our courts into banks for their "system" of unjustifiable continuances, presentation of case law with out a brief, multi pages of long drawn out legal documents, phone calls and other billable dribble. Some judges are nothing more than the modern day "moneychangers". Our courts are run by lawyers, for lawyers.

The courts are slowly becoming our decision makers. It is getting to the point where, If we vote on certain legislation, a lawyer will take it to court to be ruled on against our wishes. What happened to the checks and balances created by our forefathers?

Trust our legislators?

Yeah right!!!!  The Attorney Generals Position is nothing more than a stepping stone to the Governors office. We have far too many lawyer legislators creating loopholes for their lawyer buddies.

You know the old saying, "Lawyer first American second"
